I'm going to my nephew's wedding in July and my 16 year old granddaughter says if I don't want to wear a hat I should get a 'fascinator'

What's one of those?

Peony, take your granddaughter along with you to Debenhams or M&S. They have some beautiful ones. My granddaughter has never forgotten that she helped me to buy a modern stripey top with a hood at Next and she hopes to take me shopping when I visit her in Queensland.
