How fortunate we are to live in a society with such a wonderful establishment, full parliamentary democracy and a Royal Family to keep it that way. We have amongst us many whose allegiances lie elsewhere but it looks like today will show that they are very much a minority. I wouldn't fancy the job of a 'Royal' even with all the 'privileges' and would like to take this opportunity to wish Kate and Wills a perfect day and a long and happy life. I'm sure that The Queen will make them Duke and Duchess soon and that they will prove to be an enormous asset to our Country. I will be toasting the Bride and Groom with Champers! no doubt most of you will be joining me. Three cheers for the Royal couple.

If they can stand there and say "to love and to cherish, till death us do part" and mean it then they have my vote.
If it only about pomp and circumstance then I feel sorry for the pair of them.

It's exactly 11 o'clock. I wonder how they're feeling in front of millions? I wish them every happiness.

I think they will make a better job of being married than Williams Ma(bless her cotton socks) and Pa. It was a lovely wedding and her dress was just beautiful and designed by one of Alexanders McQueens folks too. Fabulous ;D

This time they chose each other Rosie I couldn't help but notice that up in Scotland unlike in other parts of the world like India, USA and Australia, there wasn't much interest. A woman interviewed said we should be able to vote a President in. I wonder who inspired her, Obama, Sarkozy, Berlusconi, or maybe Thatcher or Blair, but somehow they don't seem to have that uncommon touch ;D Anyway if the forthcoming vote turns out the way I think it might, Scotland could have a President Salmond, Och I the Nooze pickers ;D

Being a tree lover I thought it was a very nice touch to see the trees inside the abbey

I was not too keen on the trees. I think they spoilt magnificent architecture and made the nave look like an avenue. They belonged outside the building.
