I thought the trees looked perfect as did all the 'greenery' were they Hydrangeas not quite in bud or Viburnum opulus?

I read the trees were English field maples and Hornbeams and were underplanted with Ferns, Lily of the valley and Strawberries!
The scent must have been something! who would have thought of using strawberries for the white flower....brilliant

apparently the trees will be planted at Highgrove now. I do love the idea of them being able to walk through the same avenue of trees they did on their wedding day. It is far better reminder than any photograph.

How fortunate we are to live in a society with such a wonderful establishment, full parliamentary democracy and a Royal Family to keep it that way. We have amongst us many whose allegiances lie elsewhere but it looks like today will show that they are very much a minority. I wouldn't fancy the job of a 'Royal' even with all the 'privileges' and would like to take this opportunity to wish Kate and Wills a perfect day and a long and happy life. I'm sure that The Queen will make them Duke and Duchess soon and that they will prove to be an enormous asset to our Country. I will be toasting the Bride and Groom with Champers! no doubt most of you will be joining me. Three cheers for the Royal couple. Hip Hip Hooray Very well said Ron
