I've never seen a hedgehog in our garden. I wish one would arrive and munch on all the snails!

I have a hedgehog house, built from some old bricks and stones and tucked up the end of the garden near the compost, and had a mother and babies in it about 4 years ago, but it hasn't been used since Although I think there may be a visiting hedgehog as I often find crunched snail shells around the garden

Geranium, you have massive potential for tons of wildlife in your garden, if you encouraged more i'm sure the hedgehogs would arrive. You could put up loads more bird feeders too.

Fraid not Lou, Badgers and Foxes are the hedgehog predators, in fact we used to have them come in the garden until the badgers turned up, now we don't see them

I agree with grindle, a hedgehog is just a tasty snack for a badger. I'd love a hedgehog here, I have a hedgehog house . We don't get badgers in the garden often but it is obviously too often for a hedgehog's liking.

What about the hedgehog spines?....thought they might be a tad too prickly for the badger?
