We could not buy plants on the Farm Walk, but I did use the contact to buy a Mulberry Tree as I had the biggest one in Oxfordshire in my garden before. Unfortunately it died as it is just too exposed here. My husband would not let me plant it where I really wanted to put it because he would have to mow around it. He would be happy with some grass to mow and nothing else. The nursery will be open to the public on one day a year and that is in July.

I grew some lavender from seed this year and when I potted them on recently I sank the lower leaves deeper into the compost hoping this will produce more roots and nice bushy plants
