It is always empty when I pop in too, I think they join and then change their minds about posting.

What's an "invisible user"? I am on both Twitter and Facebook.Like any other sites, they are good if you use them for what YOU want to get from them, and don't let them dominate your life. You don't have to have friends you don't know/like and unless you do something stupid there are no privacy problems. I can't get into the chatroom here - it tells me to download Javasomething and then won't let me download it :/

I get that message, Blossom - but I wait and it goes away (normally!) then I can get in.

I twittered Sue's pics thread of the NEC ;D You may laugh but last time you tweeted something about the forum we got loads of guests (or did I dream that ) Can you see what the guests were looking at or do you get the same info as us mere mortals

An invisible user is a member who has opted (in their profile) not to have their user name displayed.

Yes I noticed there were 103 guests at 10 last night . they probably googled somethng and this forum came up. I be poking my nose in all sorts of sites like that. I probably am a " guest " a lot because I only sign in if I want to post.

I've never felt comfortable with 'invisible' users. Guests, no problem - they might decide to join us.
