Just seen the forecast for Monday for the northern area's of the British Isles, very strong winds with gusts upto 70 miles an hour Rosie, i hope you do not get any damage.  |

It's a swine isn't it  Maybe move to the south Merlin - move in next door to Geranium - she'd happily swap her neighbours for a gardening neighbour. |

It was sunny first thing, but the clouds are building up. I hope it'll be a good gardening day!

The farming section of Radio Norfolk had a farmer bringing in a lump of wheat and sand fell off it all over the desk. He is growing it in sand because it is so dry. It is wheat on our farm this year too and we don't have irrigation on our small farm. Wheat is going up in price now, which will affect chicken feed, so eggs will go up, and so on.
My grass is yellow, except near the flower beds which are watered.

The forecast was for rain spreading across the country from west to east tonight, Cherry - you might possibly see some, I hope.
