Why don't builders actually listen to what you tell them? They are doing the hardcore and shuttering today for the garage base, and we told them 9m along the front 7m along the side. So what do they do but 7m along the front and 9m along the side... Luckily i went out with a coffee for them and they hopefully have put it right.

Poor Rosie. Thankfully you got there before they laid the concrete. I think builders like to see just how stressed they can make you

Rosie, how annoying when you had given clear instructions, and because they didn't listen properly they just made more work for themselves

It's all back to front. It reminds me od a song 'The front's in the back' 'a grand little house our house is it's full of rats and mices the front's in the back' Does anyone know it's title?

I can only think of a very old one and a slightly more modern one: 'This old House' or else possibly 'Our House'...
