What surprised me about this forum, is how we managed to attract experienced dahlia growers and other gardeners to join this relatively new forum, where has the old forum did not attract any experienced dahlia growers to this extent. I think we are having a good year considering the number of gardening forums out there on the net.

I think we are having a good year considering the number of gardening forums out there on the net. It is because you know what you are talking about and your posts are relevant. It is great to have a passion and be able to share it with like minded people. I have tried to find a 'wildlife' forum when I've had questions, all the forums I have found are filled with drivel by people who have too much time on their hands and no knowledge.

Oh dear - have you asked Louise which one she belongs to? She seems to enjoy it.

I have looked at a few forums, i did join another but when it came to my subject, or has Wf put it my passion, there was nothing i felt i could contribute too or learn from, i can only speak for myself but this forum just gets better and better, not just on the dahlias neither.

I honestly believe we have the best Dahlia section ever, all the information is given clearly and any questions asked are all answered quickly and you are never made to feel daft if you ask for the most basic of information.
Well done everyone, you have done us proud ;D
