I like Bruce Springsteen Yesterday afternoon Paul,Louise and Lily went to Sandown Race course to collect money for Riding for the Disabled - Lily has a lesson every other week and absolutely loves riding 'Beano' ;D We looked after Tolly - he didn't want to go with them. Tolly arrived with a carrier bag -I thought he had brought some toys to play with - wrong!!! A packet of puff pastry and a packet of sausages !!! ;D He wanted to make some sausage rolls !!! ;D ;D

The sausage rolls turned out very well ;D Tolly (41/2) did everything I asked him to do - he loves watching his Daddy cook and has a really good knowledge of ingredients Last Christmas - at playschool - he had to take a plate of food that he likes to their party .He took Quails eggs,Manchego cheese and salami ;D By the time Paul,Lily and Louise came home he had eaten about 8 sausage rolls ;D They were only small ones ;D

Tolly's tastes are different from his grandfather's then Esther. What a fabulous selection for his party, and what a great idea for the party too.

I love the story about Tolly bringing his baking round Esther! I wonder how his choices went down with the other children, I'm not sure I would fancy quails eggs even now never mind at 4 or 5 & I don't think I tasted salami until my teens! ;D
