We have used up the last of our supply of fresh walnuts thank heavens. I am not keen on them, so I made husband shell them and the recipe said chopped walnuts, so he did that too. I love macadamia nuts fresh, but they are expensive here. I use pecans instead of walnuts.

I bought the OH a walnut tree a couple of years ago, it is growing well but hasn't produced any nuts yet. I take it you have a large walnut tree Cherry? They are beautiful trees.

My walnut tree is in the wrong place and will need to be cut down. It is just a wild one. Meantime, I have another small one which will go into the woods.
