Morning all, what show Lesley? Only a local Flower ShowSteve, it's there 67th. I only notice the sign for it Tuesday so I've left it a bit late never mind it's just for fun. Rosie I've been cooking, Blackberry and Apple Pie, Ginger cake, which has all split open at the top, and Victoria Sandwich which came over the side. 4 Beetroot, 6 Runner Beans, 6 French Beans and 3 Dahlia blooms. Nearly forgot 3 sprays of Fuchsia's. I'm now on a mission looking for pretty plates from charity shops !!!

Lesley I took my Victoria Sponge to WI last night, on a charity plate which is Royal Albert and was really admired. I made the Vic Sponge by hand, just for a change and so I could watch the TV and it was brilliant. It tasted good too.

Cherry did you sprinkle caster sugar over the top, I dont now what to do !! or do I just leave it plain. ??
