I wonder if Richard has royal blood running in his veins Rosie? He could then have two birthdays like the Queen. As mine is so close to Christmas I would love a spring or summer birthday. I could call Jenny's Rose which you gave me in the spring a birthday present.

Could have a bit of a problem here if my theory is right? Richard has his birthday listed as 06/02 which being american based forums could read as 2nd June? (they put the month first in dates) it might just be something in his profile that needs clicking on to british format? as my birthday 09/03 did show up on the forums correctly

If loads of people wished me happy birthday when it wasn't my birthday, I'd take full advantage and have two birthdays twice as much cake ;D

Reminds me of a Little Britain prog where they were doing the diet lady, she said this cake has only half the calories which means you can eat twice as much ;D

Well, when it was the third it was yesterday, so it was the 02/06. Thank you all so much for your kind messages, so sorry it has taken me so long to read them (I'm a bit single minded on the forum and go straight to "Dahlias"). Fortunately a very kind person pointed me in this direction so thanks Tel. Wishing you all a great growing season this year. Got most of mine planted by a couple of weeks ago, about another 200 to go in in the next 1/2 weeks that I held back to give, hopefully, an extended cut flower season. Thank you everyone *rolls eyes, how do I reply to all?*
