What a lovely outing. I always look for the bridges when I am going north on the train. Your photos are very good Steve.
I will be doing the same on the Thames with a band and a meal later this month. I hope the weather will be as good as you enjoyed.

You lucky you, if only we could rely on weather like that we'd put Venice out of business ;D Great shots, very atmospheric. Is yours a 'bridge camera' ;D

That "slug"...is The Sage, Gateshead,. Rosie......Its lovely inside....made up of "theatres" for live music....mainly classical I think....Don't think you would hear REM in there.... The Tyne is wonderfully clean these days....North and South..... ;D

The camera is just my HTC mobile phone HTC ? whatever that is I'll have to get 'with it', my mobile (yes I have one) cost £5 but though my SLR will take a good pic, by the time I've hauled it into position and adjusted the lens ect. the moment has often passed ;D
