Quite a set up there DC, all looking good. I see the dahlias will be based where the floral arrangements were last year at the other end of the marque.

If these fore casted gale force winds are that strong, i dread to think what damage they will do to the covers over the dahlias.

I think they will be strong, so fingers crossed for all you dahlia growers and I hope you batten down and tie in the covers well.
Whenever I look at the local weather, there is a warning for the expected gales.

Hi DC All superb photos. Very neat set up there. I'd be particularly interested to hear how you got on with the small decs (Joan Walker and Leopold Chloe, etc), and if you message me via my You Tube channel thingy, that would be appreciated. All the very best. Regards, Paul

Hi Tel, thanks regards my Trelyns. The Barbarry Pip were excellent, refined. When I grow Pip I dunno it looks heavy, almost clumsy (whenever have you heard clumsy in dahlia circles LOL) Regards, Paul

Well done with your Ruskin Michelle DC, the Kiwi's still take all the beating don't they. I hope your blooms do not have any damage this week and you get a good cut for Harrogate. Good luck in what ever classes you exhibit in on the day.

Congratulations DCDahlia.
I hope all our dahlia growers have made arrangements for protection with this wind battering them.

I hope everything is ok for you DC, my wooden posts have been in the ground for a few years, so if there is any rot, this gale will find them out.
