I've had these in a pot for several years and overwintered them in the greenhouse but as yet not much sign of any growth, just two tiny leaves (see photo in 'Flowers in June' thread, the pot to the left of the Alstromeria). I know they are usually fairly late to come up but I'm beginning to wonder whether I've lost them Does anyone else grow them, I seem to remember Steve mentioning them on the old forum so perhaps he could advise?

I lost all of mine too except for the one I had in the ground by the back wall. It's in the rain shadow of the house and in free drained soil so survived. All others in pots are gone including my leaf cuttings

I have a few varieties and they do seem slow this year except for sparkling burgundy which is romping away
bicolor is now coming up where it has been planted in the garden and also self sown in the garden! seems to do better bedded out

Do you feed your Sparkling Burgundy Steve? Mine didn't flower last year although they made plenty of leaves.

I wouldn't give up on any yet Peony it is only just June, mine get fed when I remember ...maybe once a month! I do try to re-pot every year though, mine has flowered for the last 3 years but only the green bicolor produces viable seed so far

They probably could do with re-potting, when is the best time to do it, early Spring?
