Hello everyone, we are in Guernsey for a week to celebrate our anniversary. It is beautiful here with lots & lots of colour, hanging baskets, window boxes, troughs, fabulous gardens with lots of roses. We are going to do lots of coastal path walks - weather permitting, it is similar to back home with sunshine & showers and about 15' today.
I brought my netbook so I can keep an eye on things

and so that you don't forget me

I just love Bucktrouts. They used to put on fabulous wine tasting for people buying duty free, and I still have loads of the blue and white plastic bags. Husband used to fly an Andover down there to pick up flowers for the Summer Ball. (They were the days!) The wine tasting was a must and the wine would be back on the aeroplane when we took off. Of course, the pilots and crew could not partake of the tasting at all. However, Bucktrouts looked after them.

Can you get to Sark from there? I think that would be lovely.
