I did enjoy it, especially the pipes. The Queen looks amazing. She really can't be faulted and has hardly had a day off in her lifetime.

After the display, two Tornadoes and two Typhoons came back into formation and displayed over our place very low on their return to Marham. We are actually in Marham air space, so it was a good show. My younger son was helping to knock the grow bags about and he almost trampled me to the floor to get out and see them. Well that was about half of the airforce as it is now.

I just hope RAF Lossiemouth and Leuchars are saved. Not being horrible or anything but are any English or Welsh bases threatened with closure??

I wrote a whole story there and lost the lot by pressing the wrong key. There is direct competition between Lossie and Marham, but we won't know until just before parliament stops for the huge holiday for MPs.

Well i am TOTALLY biased... i want Lossie and Leuchars to stay, we have already lost Kinloss and the nimrods. But someone is wanting to buy a nimrod from the MOD and turn Kinloss into and RAF museum, great idea if you ask me ;D ;D

Well you are not sitting on the fence Rosie. Good for you to speak up. This is very political and I would be unpopular here, but I think Moray is more needy than Norfolk.

Odd that! I didn't notice any goose stepping ;D No gooses SP ...just good precision marching.. My dad was in the Scots Guards but even so I think the marching etc would have been even more precise if it was my old lot doing it. Us ex bootnecks have to stand up for ourselves Royal Marines take some beating when it comes to drill.
