Unfortunately the seeds haven't germinated. I guess they are just too old now

I've got them soaking on a piece of damp kitchen roll, they look pretty good so far.
Tel was a great laugh on here. He helped so many folks with dahlias and other plants.
I remember going to Frogladies funeral. She's buried in a lovely peaceful place.

I was raking through my seed box today and I came across an old brown packet, I had no idea what it was till I looked inside. Turns out it was a few tomato seeds that Tel sent me, obviously quite a few years back! It was a nice remind of our Tel. I'm going to sow them and see if they germinate.

I went to the Downham Market Country Market (which is just a name really) today and bought Camellia ‘Debbie’. It has been grown hard and has 15 buds on it, so it should be a good shrub. However, today is really windy here, even though it is 11 deg. It’s is sunny, so I will stuff the pot at the back in the shelter of some other plants. Snap Cherry! I bought a Debbie too, also Camellia April Remembered, my friend reduced them for me as they were last years plants. Oh a Sinensis and a Lily flowered Camellia too. This is to replace the one's the mice destroyed. I've taken some cuttings off the destroyed one. Hopefully they will root.

I managed to prune the rest of the roses yesterday although I'll probably come across one I've missed somewhere. I've pruned mine Rosie because you're supposed to do it in winter when the roses are dormant & mine never really are nowadays, they always have leaves & buds or flowers on them but at the moment they look a bit quiet with new leaf buds just coming through so I've taken the chance to tidy them up a bit. I was brave SueA and pruned most of the roses back. Still got a couple to do but it certainly won't be today!! Its baltic out there!!

Oh Eli. I'm so sorry to hear Beryl has passed away. She sounded like a lovely person. She is at peace now, no more pain. It's important that you look after yourself too.
