These are the shrubs OH got from his late Gran's. Noticed lots of Fox glove seedlings in the pots after i took these too ;D so they have been potted up.

They look like Euonymus 'Emerald n' Gold' to me.

Nearly The first is Euonymus japonicus 'Ovatus 'Aureus'. The second is Euonymus fortunei 'Sunspot'.

My esteemed colleague has told me the second looks more likely to be Euonymus japonicus 'Aureus' So thats E. j. 'Ovatus Aureus and E. j. 'Aureus'

Ooo thank you , it depends how bug they are going to get if they will make hedging I'm sure i can find a place . I know ones reverted to green I was telling OH but its too far gone to chop out. They were sat in his grans garden with no care from her going in hospital (November) until Ant brought them here.
