That's a good offer Rosie, wish I had room for some but I'll just stick to my autumn ones in a pot for now!

You don't need the code Joycie, just click the button next to where it says to put a code in and you'll progress ;D

That sounds like a good price for the raspberries. I will be moving mine next year, but have plenty of suckers to start off a new garden with them. I should think they will do well for you Rosie.

I grew raspberries once, how do you stop them taking over the garden? I had two small rows which soon became a third of the vegetable beds. I dug them out but missed a few runners and now they have swamped the black and red currants.

I dug them out but missed a few runners and now they have swamped the black and red currants. They like it that well here too WF. I wasted raised beds on them, but now I think I will make a new bed in another place, where it doesn't matter if they become unruly.

That is what I have been thinking of doing, either a bed where they will be contained or somewhere that can wander without it being a problem.

You can hem them in with old roof slates which stops them from wandering. I have been trying to source a few for my allotment, but so few roof have slate now, so its not that easy to find. (and no i'm not suggesting you steal them off of a local roof)

Thanks Poly, I have quite a few slates here, I'll see if I have enough to make a bed.
I was given about three dozen pinks today, all sturdy plants and most are about to flower, I feel a spot of planting coming on ;D
