Hello and welcome from me too. Congratulations on been the 100th member. The £25 voucher is definitely worth a lot more than one of the suggestions for the prize for the 100th member. LJB do not ask. I think this could be along the lines of a photo which you would not really want to see. ;D

Welcome LJ & congrats on being the 100th member! I'd be interested too if anyone can find a rose which blooms in winter although I think nothing would have flowered in the last 2 winters we've had. I have the climbing rose 'Golden Showers' which sometimes repeat flowers quite late in the year & an unknown yellow one which does the same but they get hit by heavy frost or snow in late autumn/early winter.

Not yet no, i'm hoping to build up a collection though. My grandfather had a gorgeous rose garden. All very old english and I can remember some flowering then in the winter although as I was very young they might just have been late autumn ones! Am hoping to get a good selection for next year Well you've got an advantage over you're Grandfather as now you can have 'old fashioned' roses but without so much of the old diseases.

Just seen this so will now add my welcome to the forum from me too. Doubt there are winter flowering roses unless you give them special treatment like they do for chelsea and the like, not really practical for the home gardener.
