They are lovely flowers Hywel. How can you say you don't have much at present. Beautiful cat.
They must be quality blooms in your vases Lou. They look fantastic.

They are lovely flowers Hywel. How can you say you don't have much at present. I think it's because so many plants have been poor this year Cherry, and have finished already. I suppose there are quite a few things flowering when I look around. Lou, you've got some lovely Dahlias. They are wonderful flowers for a vase aren't they

My sweet peas have finished - I bet yours haven't, Hywel! My sweet peas never even started this year Geranium. The garden doesn't feel the same without them Actually most of my plants have finished, or are finishing, already. It's so disappointing.

The garden doesn't feel the same without them Actually most of my plants have finished, or are finishing, already. It's so disappointing. It's been a very strange few months. I agree - some plants gave up too soon, some didn't do much at all! I did have sweet peas for about 10 - 11 weeks, though, but that was from autumn sowing.

It is true that it has not been a sunny summer. My various squashes are late to get going.

I might follow your example Geranium, and sew some this autumn, and I'll try them in those little pots you showed how to make - do you still make those ? I'll look forward to some lovely flowers next year Cherry sorry to hear your squashes are so late, but I hope you do get some lovely ones later on ....

I'm finding the tomatoes are taking a while to ripen this year too. It's been a funny old season, hopefully next year will be better
