Even though I have no room and have promised to stop buying anything, I've really fallen for that Solanum laciniatum Steve, like everything about it. I'll make a note.

I now it's not flowers but didn't know were to post it You could have started a new thread maybe - sorry I didn't mean to sound critical - it was just a thought Anyway those tomatoes look nice. I haven't grown beans this year. I usually do. I like your basket aswell. It must be easy to carry things in it. And I love the colour of that clematis Cherry

The veg look more colourful than some of the flowers Lesley. It adds colour and a sense of time for early autumn. My tomatoes are only just now turning red.

I managed to break one of my Ildi, so I am letting one of those pieces that get picked off grow instead. They will be even later.

Do you know what the name of that Clematis is, please, Cherry? It's a lovely colour, and so prolific!

I think it is C. viticella 'Polish Spirit' Barbara. It was a freebie around three years ago. Would you believe, this photo was taken when it first came out and the flowers are just dropping now after six weeks. It became thick with flower, so looked much better than this photograph, and looking down this path I have the happy accident of Buddleia Black Knight (same colour) with Crocosmia Lucifer in between. It looks designed. That clematis is worth its keep. It gets cut down and Jasmine nudiflorum takes the stage. This is underneath.
