They're very pretty. I can only eat raw carrots. I can only eat raw parsnips and raw cauliflower aswell ;D Cooked - Yach ! Graham eats a raw carrot everyday with his dinner at work

This reminds me of the experiments with beetroot years ago, there has always been white beet relatives as in sugar and Mangolds etc and one type was advertised as white beetroot with the benefit that it didn't stain the tablecloth etc and was not as messy to cook, it never really took off ...the taste was exactly the same but it just didn't look right I tried those, they made excellent wine

I have grown the purple and white carrots, and the different coloured cauliflowers. The cauliflowers are best steam cooked to help maintain the colour.

I love raw carrot and cauli.....not tried raw parsnips....yet The "white" strawbs probably taste the same as "red".....are brain's are conditioned to conform

I have those strawberries and they are fine. I took 2 plants to Yorkshire to Terry, but I don't know if his fruited or not. They did have one or two fruits Cherry, but i did not get round to trying them. I did pot up some runners though, from them.
