For those who are interested: - a few facts and figures
Capital Development....Phases 1 and 2
Funding:
Capital Dev:
Public £16.6m making up 47.3% Bank £ 4.8m making up 13.6% Private funding and revenues £13.7m making up 39.1% and as said above nothing from Millennium Lottery.
Objectives - briefly....Learning and Skills Development; Access and activity addressing disabilities; Play; Health Activity and Wellbeing; Experience of the Arts; Economic Renaissance;
I can expand on these if anyone would like more detail.....There is still a long way to go before The Garden is finished...The next build is a childrens playground under The Treehouse....a garden where no child will be disadvantaged; whatever their disability.

I watched it last night. I didn't realise the gardens were as large as they were. GW gave it a good sized slot. Well worth every penny they have spent on it.
One day I will visit them in person.
