has anyone grown the Crystal Apple cucumber? what are they like? are they worth growing?

I have grown them Grindle I like them and so do the children I would say they are worth growing I pick them when they are about 2" -3" long before they go yellow and peel them - lovely in a sandwich or salad ;D

In Victoria we grow these behind the shed. We have had them for years and call them apple cucumbers.

I have grown them for a couple of years and i love them, they taste so refreshing. I tend to leave mine a bit longer than Esthers though ;D

I've grown them before although in the greenhouse - this year I plan to let them scramble along the ground. The cucumbers are lovely Grindle - would you like me to send you a couple seeds to try?
