We have a cherry Stella but unfortunately something is eating the leaves, we've sprayed it with a bug gun but it's still being eaten, does anyone know what it could be ? there's nothing showing on or underneath the leaves.

What do the leaves look like? Full of holes and eaten round the edgers.

I don't know about the pest. I can only say, it happens. My damson plums had the same look a couple of years ago, but they fruited and are fine.

There are different kinds of leaf weevils which nibble leaves & blossom on fruit trees, when I had a stepover pear tree the leaves were always getting nibbled even though I never actually saw anything on them & as Cherry says it doesn't usually damage the trees.
