I don't usually have any problems growing my peppers and chillies but 2 of my grafted peppers and a couple of chilli plants are not looking too well I am putting it down to the horrible weather - too cold and not enough sunshine . Anyone else having problems ?

Perhaps, except that mine are fine so far and two varieties of chilli are almost ready. If this is the case, is it the weather? However, we might have had marginally more sun here. How weird that I was thinking of your capsicums yesterday Esther as I was looking at my 'Worldbeater'.

This is a good site to look up pepper problems esther: aces.nmsu.edu/pubs/_circulars/circ549.html#CCould be thrip damage or fertilizer burn if you use chemical ferts Esther, I've had that happen to my peppers grown in raised beds, there wasn't any pests that I could see and when I took a few plant samples to our local agricultural office the results came back as fertilizer toxicity. I cut back on feeding and a couple weeks later the peppers were okay again.

They are very affected by aphids too even if the attack is cleared up this still seems to make the leaves distorted, they seem very sensitive to them

Thankyou for the link jrae Steve - I can't see any evidence of pest damage - I have a feeling it is a watering problem - me giving them too much - and lack of warmth/sunshine I am letting the pots dry out a bit .
