Love the sempervivums Peony & the pot display Lou, I'm a sucker for pink! I think I will try dividing the daylily if it will split Peony & repot it after it's finished flowering.

I love Hemerocallis and mine are getting mixed up now too. I kept the names for as long as I could.

Yes, I especially like the double Lily! How long do Sempervivums take to flower, Peony? I don't know Geranium Mine have been in the pot for 3 years, I think it may be that they need a lot of sun before they flower rather than how old they are. Cherry, do you know the answer to G's question? It's a shame your sempervivums were spoiled by ants. That is exactly how long mine took to flower. When I read this, I did the calculation and thought Peony's would flower quicker because she looks after her plants. I was surprised when the flowers came out because they are quite attractive even without the blooms. A friend from Oxfordshire gave them to me.

I dont have any atm but when I did, they did not take overly long to flower....perhaps they prefer a cooler climate

I think you are just a good gardener Lou. Mine have certainly extended and fill up quite a good space now at the front of a raised bed and also below this railway sleeper where there is gravel.

This is one of the plants I bought at the Taunton Flower Show. David Stutfield has spent years breeding this Pelargonium from the Victorian variety 'Appleblossom'. It has beautiful variegated leaves as you can see... I just hope I can over-winter it! It's going to be launched at Chelsea next year, so we were lucky to get a preview.

Very nice Geranium ;D.....I've grown the Appleblossom Rosebud many times....didn't know about the variagated leafed one though. Its rather nice, doesn't detract from the flowers like a lot of variagated forms. Cuttings root easily too...
