Poor you, rosie. What a nasty shock to the system! I am so glad my degree ceremony was before all these awful terrorist attacks, or I probably wouldn't have gone. I watched the concert from Manchester and thought how brave the youngsters were to go even though the security was obviously very tight. Lots of great messages as well as good pop, stars perfkrming. I have a gripe - some horrible person rode their horse down the footpath yesterday and it pooped everywhere - the footpath was almost un-walkable on! How selfish was that, and what was wrong with that horse's innards to make such a dreadful mess?

We were very lucky really and we found out yesterday the car is totally repairable too, just have to get a quote to the insurance folks now. I can't really deal with the car just now, I haven't even looked at the damage to be honest. It was a shock Geranium, hope your degree ceremoney went well. I would have collected the poop, its great for the garden

The only thing we are having trouble getting is a front valance, it fits behind the number plate and goes side to side on the car. I'm not sure how I'll feel when it comes to going to a show once it's repaired!! I'm such a wuss

Yes, I am now officially a B.Ed, and had my picture in the local paper...fame at last!! Yesterday I was very grateful that I am not opening the garden. It was pretty devastated by the awful weather. Lupins - flat. Roses, smashed to pieces. Twigs and leaves everywhere, clems coming off their trellises. My tall something or other 'polymorpha' wrecked. A complete shambles. SIGH.... However, some good news too - we are going back to Portmeirion for three nights next week, as 'Barking Mad' have found a lady who knows spaniels to look after Widget!!! Yayyyy!!!!

Ugh Geranium, that horse must have a problem!! Thats a shame about your garden, luckily a lot of my flowers are still in bud so hopefully the non stop rain won't damage them too much. Have a nice time in Portmerion

It was Grahams birthday yesterday, he had a hospital appointment first thing, after that we had a nice day out, until we were on our way home, a passing car kicked up a stone, now we have a large crack in the windscreen of the daily driver car! I'm wondering what else is going to happen this year.
