I wish you well Cherry. Flu is a horrible thing. I'm glad you're coping with it at home. Take care
I had to go to the optician yesterday because of a pain and redness in my eye. He said I've got an ulcer under my eye lid and I've got drops to put on it. I have to go back to see him on Tuesday.
I hope everyone is safe and well in this cold weather.

Glad you've avoided hospital Cherry but you must look after yourself & don't try to do too much. What a welcome home, those germs/viruses must have been lying in wait for you!

I've just heard that Baaker of Spalding have gone bust; however they are cashing cheques and accepting orders without sending the goods. You have been warned!!

We had a really lovely day at our Spring Flower show at the weekend, i took 3 cups back and brought the same 3 back, i'm really sorry but i forgot to take any photos of my exhibits. it was a very long day as i did stewarding as well in the morning then in the afternoon we did the plant stall again and sold over £100 worth having done all that i'm taking next week off to sort my own stuff out.

I cooked one of Jamie Oliver’s 15 minute meals which took me 2 hours and is not even very good, despite using Aberdeen Angus mince and the best organic ingredients. Well I took a long time because it is my son’s flat and I don’t know where everything is. He has my Magimix, but it is in a cupboard near the ceiling and I couldn’t lift it down. I used a blender which I am not familiar with and got into trouble with this. Today, I am making a Thai green curry, and M&S have most of the ingredients. When Natasha and Geoffrey come home on Tuesday, they will have a retro pavlova because I bought passionfruit and physalis, which I will dip in chocolate to decorate, along with strawberries of course. I am missing the garden obviously. I haven’t even got a dog here. Oh well, the weather is far better than North Queensland.

Part of a result, after 4 months of wrangling the rubbish next door was finally removed, now we will wait and see what happens to the garden although with the track record, I'm not holding my breath. Amazingly, we were told we should be sorry for her as she's a single parent, how does that stop you putting refuse out every 2 weeks ?!

I love that Cherry, you should write to Jamie & tell him how long his meal took you to make! At least that's a start grindle & the council are aware of the problem, if they're so sympathetic perhaps they'll give her some help.

Good luck with your cooking Cherry . I've heard that Aberdeen Angus is one of the best beefs you can buy. I don't eat much red meat though.
Being a single parent seems to be an excuse for many things these days grindle . Poor little thing, but she is probably able bodied ! I am a single 24 hour carer, with a ruptured disk in my spine, two arthritic knees and a hiatus hernia, but I still put the rubbish out
