I’m sure Beryl will be grateful for the help as she probably does not like relying on you so much Eli. It works both ways. You will enjoy a little space too.

When I go out for a walk the sound of buzzing stops me in my tracks. The bees are smothering the old wild ivy plants. They don’t look as if they are in flower, but look closely and these are the flowers that turn into the black berries over winter.

I visited the Henry Moore exhibition at Houghton Hall yesterday. It was a great day, but there was a lot of walking involved. I have seen 5 Henry Moores in other sites, including one outside at the National Art Gallery in Melbourne. Two were in the south of Scotland in rural areas. There is one outside King’s Cross Station and one outside Parliament.

I completely understand grindle. It is a good life here in Downham Market with all the groups I am part of, but I can never be completely happy, as Moira lives on Magnetic Island. We never stop being mothers. My son came back after a few months, but it was a big ask for a second wife who has children here. I would not live in South Australia, even though it is ‘going ahead’.

I haven't flown either since I was in my mid twenties grindle, I used to feel so ill & claustrophobic that I gave up. I did manage to fly before then & did couple of 4 hour flights but no way could I fly all the way to Australia so I don't blame you, Cherry is my hero in the way she can just pop back & forth there as though she's just going down the road!

Sue, that’s the secret. The other is to pull out the ‘old lady’ card and ask when I need to. I travel out on my Australian passport and back using my UK passport to avoid queues. Just follow the signs all the way. Time you went grindle. Life is too short not to do all these things and you would be so spoilt while you are there.

I'm glad none of my relations lives abroad, I hate goodbyes, they make me feel so sad
I could never go on a plane … I went once to Spain but that was enough. It felt claustrophobic and I felt as if I was suffocating It made me feel panicky
