It's on BBC2 on Sunday morning at 9.30am as well, I doubt I'll be watching it then though, I'm usually in the shower at that time! ;D I'll try to remember to record it.

I just watched Beechgrove on I-player as my back is feeling the effects of physio yesterday. What a great programme this is and I am pleased to say it has not changed. The presenters were up against terrible weather and the garden has hardly moved out of winter mode, but a super programme was put together.
Chris Beardshaw's problem solving to make the Hippophae branch lower down was new to me. I hope we go back to this. I wonder if this remedy can be used on other trees.

He is very good Rosie. I know he is good looking too. I think he was chosen as a presenter because he is English and would make the programme more relevant to English gardeners. He is certainly well qualified, so the standards will be kept high. I sound like a real fan of Beechgrove Garden and that is because I have been one for many years.

I think I will have to bore you every time I watch Beechgrove. The weather was bad again, so Chris Beardshaw went to Crathes Castle as he could not do any planting. He interviewed the head gardener who was enthusiastic and knowledgeable. There were more tricks shown for the show enthusiast, this time getting rid of spiral marks on parsnips. I hope Derek watches. One of the best points of Beechgrove is the experimental planting. Great programme.

To be fair, I thought GW was a lot better this week. It was better because there were more presenters involved. I can have too much Monty Don.
