Quote cherry................ 'Sweet Pea lessons would be excellent, but I wish it was started in October.' Actually cherry this could start at any time. I know what you mean re October as that is the main sowing time for exhibition peas however there are a lot of points to be made before a novice will be ready for sowing as will become evident in due course. If it is ok I will need a dedicated thread.......nudge nudge

With your guidance sweetpea, you may even persuade me, to have a go at growing them.

With your guidance sweetpea, you may even persuade me, to have a go at growing them. Well i am still learning things about Dahlias from what you have been saying. one of the main reasons I decided on sweetpeas in the first place was that they are hardy (very hardy) and I didn't have a g'house back then. It was much later when I had a go at dahlias but even then I managed to propogate them without the aid of a greenhouse. How? I will tell you if you wish.

That would help those without a greenhouse sweetpea.
