your wooded area looks lovely with the crocus and snowdrops coming out. I was going to take some photos today but it's pouring down

Here's one of the blooms on my Abeliophyllum - why is this shrub known as 'White Forsythia'? It has more blossom on it than previous years, which is good, but it's not covered in flowers.

Lovely colour geranium, it's much prettier than the yellow. your wooded area looks lovely with the crocus and snowdrops coming out. It is beginning to look like a little wood now, the daffs and bluebells will be next. Cherry, the last couple of wet summers and the canopy from the trees has encouraged lots of moss, I love moss, it is an amazing plant.

I think moss has a romance and spirituality. I have probably lived too long in Scotland.

I have a lot of moss on the soil in my top border - I know it can be a sign of poor drainage, but I'd be surprised it that were the cause there. It's the sunniest and best-drained area of the garden!

I've got moss growing in some very dry beds too, it's very odd. This is my favorite moss, it looks like mini ferns

Thank you, I knew someone would know. I was going to look intelligent, look it up and post the name but when it said there were over 2000 moses in Britain I decided the photo was good enough ;D
