I am really fed up with Photobucket at the moment -photos will just not upload for me! I tried Picassa but that messed up my uploading photos from my camera - does anyone have any suggestions please? I am still taking lots of photos but can't share them with you

I've been having real problems with 'tinypic' for several days, esther. I've only just managed to persuade it to co-operate once, but then the web page 'expired'. I think I almost did at that point, too!

Having problems with Imageshack too, if it's any consolation. No idea why it seems to be a widespread problem.

Bess, Geranium and esther, I have just started using postimg.org It lets you post thumbnails or full size images. You just click on the thumbnail to open fully. Easy to upload and free to join of course!

I use Imageshack & touch wood, haven't had any problems with it other than it being a bit slow at times & you now have to click through a page with advertising to get to your image.

No problems with tiny pic but have downloaded postimg.org to try it. This is St.David's Cathedral Just tried it and it seems the image needs to be resized as much too big for the screen. Oh well another learning curve.

I don't have any problem with photobucket either peony. I think the other site mentioned above is good as a back up though. I like the fact that you can post thumbnails and if the viewer wishes to look futher, they can click on it. Could be good for speeding up loading time for people on here with slower pc's.

Photobucket has been driving me crazy! I had to resort to imgur.com today, to do most of my posting photos. Here is a reply I received some time ago from Keira in Photbucket Support re some things that can be done to get PBucket working better. I need to do all of these myself just now! I notice that Pbucket can be very slow in loading. There is no way it's possible to copy the url, if the page has not loaded properly. So it means waiting! I usually wait until I see a box open that says "Add your comments" - and not before then. If that fails, Clicking on the Reset button in the url line for Pbucket - looks like a "C" with and arrow on it - can help. Sometime, but not always that does the trick. Again, you have to wait until the page has loaded up fully before attempting to copy url of image. Hope that helps.

I didn't use Photobucket, it was tinypic that gave me so many problems that I've given up on it and I now use "Postimage.org". Once I got the hang of it, it's easy.

As an alternative, I use imgur, but as I have all my photos on Photobucket, I'm kinda stuck with it.
