when I was a kid and moved house I recall finding a slightly bitter tangy leaf growing in the back garden ,it looked like a large spinach leaf. I think the previous owners had grown some veg but it was overgrown when we arrived . anyone any idea what this might have been i think it would be nice in a salad ?

Thanks Sue and Steve, yes sour apples would be a good description . I looked it up and it is poisonous in large amounts I wonder if there are different kinds ? or is it invasive ? I might give it a go in a pot any way.
