What a shame, @hywel - better luck next time. I won't give up. I'm determined to get one now. There are several nice small garden centres near here, and I'll go around them all

It's been so mild, there are lots of odd flowers hanging on. I have several Anthemis and roses - a bit tatty, now, though. Most unusual for the end of December.

The cotoneaster still looks fabulous @hywel. I think the birds would eat them here. You photographed the pansies at a lovely angle to include the open country and heathers are one of my favourite flowers which probably comes from living for many years in rural Scotland.
