Seeds of Cycas panzhihuaensis (try saying that drunk....or even sober!). Hardy (relatively) and quite fast growing too!...(relatively). They were gifted to me by a friend that I had passed a lot of garden jobs on to recently

Just hover your cursor over my name @hywel, just above my avatar and you will see my tag name It's a legacy of when I joined this forum under that name and later decided to use my real name (with the 'N' added to differentiate myself from boss steve on here

A work colleague bought a tree fern during our recent half price sale so they got the 50% plus their 30% staff discount on top! As much as I love them, I just don't have any space left...

Jubaea chilensis is a massive Palm tree in it's native Chile. As a true feather palm it is almost certainly the hardiest, at least as hardy as the fan palms Trachycarpus or Chaemerops. Just found a picture of this one growing in Birmingham UK www.growingontheedge.net/viewtopic.php?f=2&t=3566&view=printI'll be looking out for seed of this one too

...and of course though I have "no space" to chance growing one outside, any plants will always find a good home
