It could have been a lot worse, it might have been nicer for Graham if clumps of stinking rotting muck from my neighbours cow byre hadn't got into it!! We now know that the drain begins up in his yard. Why it comes across into our ..who knows! He did work hard peony, and yes if it had to happen it was at the right time of year, but the tunnel was full of overwintering plants, we moved a lot of them to our big shed for protection. Now they will all need moving back

Now they will all need moving back You have my sympathies Rosie, we had a similar problem with the drainage from the 2 houses next to us further up the hill, their drainage pipes cross our garden and one of the previous owners was not very careful about what they put in the drains/toilets and caused a blockage which backed up in the drain under our garden and we had to pay to have it unblocked Fortunately they have now moved on and the new neighbours have caused no problems.
