Nice large and robust clump of Snowdrops. I think it may be Galanthus plicatus rather than the usual G. nivalis.

Need to smell my Daphne bholua 'Jacqueline Postill' for the full effect. Absolutely delicious and been flowering since January too.

Yes SueA the pots are in a covered shelter outside the kitchen door. Maybe I'll show some photos of it ... after I've tidied it !

pretty primulas Raymond Love your aconites SteveN, never tried to grow them, I think I should have a go, are they easy to establish? You just can't beat the perfume of daphne

Oh they are lovely Steve. Really showy. I tend to forget about buying snowdrops in the autumn and then wish I had when I see them in spring, all fresh looking. I am pleased my deep red hellebore that got chomped to the earth last winter has recovered enough to make three flowers :)I thought it was a goner. The white fluffy one is a Credale strain my husband bought for me recently.

As promised, some photos of the covered shelter by my back door ... I keep alpines and potted bulbs etc there in the winter, and in the summer I put some of my succulents and cacti in there.
