Your vases look really lovely ladybird. Wish I could smell them. Thanks Cherry. It is nice to have pictures of cut flowers as they don`t last long indoors. I have cut a few nicotina from last year that have just flowered, and hope tonight at about 8pm the living room will be filled with their scent, which sadly only last for a few evenings once cut.

I also have a similar cute chicken moneybox in the kitchen I did have a lovely ladybird one I kept in the greenhouse but with the sun and heat the paintwork wiped off last year

I read recently that yellow roses always have the 'best' scent - I have to say I agree going on my roses so far!

I have been picking flowers for church for two weeks, but they have been bunched in a bucket rather than arranged in a vase. This is my flower for WI tonight, but I haven't won for ages. It is Campanula lactiflora 'Pritchard's Variety' which came from Tel.

I won, out of about 30 flowers. I haven't won for ages, though I came second last month with my aconitum. This gorgeous Campanula is a mauvy blue. I love it. I won first prize in the raffle too. The group sang Flanders and Swan and Joyce Grenfell type songs, so an enjoyable evening.
