bought some new lily bulbs this year and found 3 of the scales loose in the packet, so put them in damp vermiculite to see what happened, they sent out bulbils and roots amazingly, this is what I have now from those little bits wonder how long it will take for them to flower

Thanks! I have a packet of mixed 'Summer bulbs' that was free with the little Dianthus plants from Hayloft - no clues as to what they are, and they are all shooting. I suppose the best thing would be to plant them in a pot and see what comes up, if anything. I shared them with Eva, so we'll be interested in seeing what happens. I'm not impressed by the lack of labelling.
