Very spacious and lovely colour for this time of year. Is that a Laburnum over the arch in your first pic?

Looks lovely Fractal , I've never been there, it looks well worth a visit. Have you got another new camera, your photos look to be a different format & the colours are beautiful!

Just used my mobile phone SueA I was going to take my other camera but decided just to use mobile (which is pretty good). It's very good Fractal , no wonder people just use their phones instead of cameras nowadays. I think it looks a bit odd though when you see people waving whopping big 'tablets' around to take photos, my O.H. has an ipad & occasionally does that!

Yes SueA, my Mum-in-law will do that, as she can actually see what she's taking a photo of on the big tablet screen, unlike small screens. Unfortunately a)no one else can see anything from behind her and b)tablets are generally rubbish quality photos, and then she's mad!
That looks a brilliant place to visit, SteveN, and I love those sunflowers. I really miss having the space to grow those. It does look very autumnal! I can't resist a good castle, I'm afraid I would have probably visited that first.
