They weren't in their respective gardens, so I was really glad when they called out and came clambouring over fences to get to me. one staunched the blood, whilst the other rang for the ambulance, directed them to me and followed it in their car, so I had someone at the cottage hospital, with me.
It pays to be nice to your neighbours. You never know when you may need help.

You ca always make a cold frame using polycarbonate sheets. Not as dangerous and just as good. dianthus

My dad made a corrugated Perspex greenhouse for my mum, some 30yrs ago. She spent many a happy afternoon in there, sorting out her bedding plants, and, as you say sweetpea , there is no danger of glass breakage .... just as well as it got damaged in the October 87 hurricane
