Is that coronilla citrina grindle, have you got it undercover? I keep seeing that & wondering if it would survive here, I don't think it would in the ground, too wet obviously but maybe in a pot against a house wall?

yes you're right SueA and it is in the greenhouse, I got it in September and repotted it, I didn't think it would survive the winter so I'm growing it on into a bigger plants to give it a better chance. It smells lovely once the sun warms the greenhouse up

I wondered about the smell grindle, it usually says 'lovely scent similar to narcissus' so I'm pleased you've said it does smell good.

Spectacular camellia grindle. I used to grow Coronilla against a trellis when I lived near Oxford. It was never out of flower and if I could grow it there, it would grow for you in your favourable climate outside.

Some spring photos ...
Vinca minor :-
Primulas :-
Anemone blanda :-
Fritillary :-
Narcissus :-
'Dead' fuchsia sprouting from under the compost :-
... so it wasn't dead after all
I had also taken photos of some Hellibores, Chinodoxas, Heather, Tulips and Pulmonaria but they are all blurry so I'll have to try again
