I love the Fritillaria meleagris too Eli. It is Oxfordshire’s county flower and is on council letterhead and WI articles, etc. Norfolk’s is the common Poppy, so I have been lucky in both counties.

I'm hoping mine will too Eli it's just a case of finding a place they're happy in, so fingers crossed

It does look like a tree bumblebee grindle. Your garden looks like it's just slightly ahead of mine with everything although the sun is bringing everything out now, the dicentras are out but the acers are still in bud or just about to unfurl.

Gorgeous pulmonaria Eli & love the colours Bess & lesley (& the bunny peeping through the wallflowers ). My garden still looks quite yellow - lots of daffs still out & mainly yellow tulips, for some reason the pink ones don't seem to have done so well this year.

Love those hot colours, Bess and Lesley....your gardens must be bathed in wall to wall sunshine even on a gloomy day 😎 And that pulmonaria is fabulous Eli (I'm dead jealous! 😁 ).

Well here they are - my pride and joy! Obviously not so ambitious as many of you experienced types but these are the first plants I've ever grown - really. These few pansies and viola are what sparked my interest in growing stuff, germinating from seed etc. After moving in last year, and getting my small gardens into shape, I decided to have a go at some seeds and read about winter pansies and viola. I made my lighting rig and did these, if memory serves me correctly I sowed them around September, I followed the pack info anyway. This year I've obviously got much more ambitious. So here they are, my pride and joy.
