Does anyone know what's going on with these blackcurrant leaves? It's the leaves at the tips of a couple of the stems, all look scrunched up and deformed. It's not a very big bush yet so quite obvious. It had a bad start to life with my Mum who abandoned it in a tiny pot and it has never been overly healthy looking but I was hoping it'd pick up this year once it'd had a chance to get established.

Turn the leaves over and have a good look for aphids.

That's what I was thinking too Bess, might be tiny sap-sucking aphids on the back of the leaves causing them to pucker up, if it is they won't do much harm to the plant, I usually just pull the deformed leaves off & wash any near them to get rid of the culprits, others would probably spray with something but I don't do that especially with anything edible.

Ok thanks, will venture out again for a better look when everything is slightly less soggy...
