Most of my plants are showing signs of distress after that intense heat we had for several weeks, but it's surprising how well they are actually doing … Here are some of the best parts of the best plants
Platycodon :-
Clematis Minuet :-
Clematis Gypsy Queen :-
Clematis Betty Corning :-
Shasta Daisy :-
Perennial Sweet Pea :-

They look happy enough Eli, it's strange isn't it, some plants are loving it, some appearing out of season, some completing their flowering/fruiting season in rapid time & others just curling up & dying! A few enjoying the sun here:- Crocosmias - I know some people don't like these but they add a pop of colour Daylily, no idea which variety Rudbeckias Twice in a Blue Moon rose

Thank you grindle, I think I'll be pruning it. I have others that get quite big and I always cut them back in the spring.

That's a lovely Agapanthus, Steve, a beautiful blue. I've got a pale blue but i'd like a few more varieties. Seems to be loving this year. Agapanthus and Echinops (these are close to each other, the agapanthus in a pot, and they look nice together I think) My Canna tropicanna, having squeaked through the very hard winter, is now loving the tropical weather Not a great photo of this Scabious ('Black Knight'?) as it was breezy - but I love this one, and so do the bees. It self seeds around a bit which is nice.
